1. Status Reports:

   a. Any Network Services projects pending/waiting? 

       - Bookstore changes


   b. Shiva LANRover status 

       - can we meet the 8/1 target date for installing the 28.8 modems
           and LANRover.


   c. Wiring project:

       - status report; any developments?  What can we tell the campus?

       - PACES: any developments?


   d. Unix hosts
  
       - Other projects w/ Russ (see 3/18 notes from meeting with Russ).

       - Residential Network servers (TCP/IP services; email); other
         servers (Netware? AppleShare?).  Report on results of meeting
         with Russ Nelson

   e. Review Summer/Fall-prep projects

 
2. New items:
  


   a. PACES - cabling from Thatcher to a SUNYCard reader in Crumb Library.

   b. Changes to network support (changing Network Services)

      - Alerting campus of network (voice, video, data) problems would
        be done by Customer Services

      - Security from hacking and other threats/problems--who would 
        handle this?

      + Internet access:  who would handle the following?

        - obtaining/maintaining our ISP services w/ NYSERNet and SUNYNet
        - problems with SUNYNet (who would be the contact here)?

      - What about on backup procedures that we defined at our 
        5/14/96 NST meeting?

      - What types of "network services" requests could/should be handled
        by Customer Services?
