1. Status Reports:

   a. Any Network Services projects pending/waiting? 

       - Diversity Office moves in the Union.  All connected expect Luz
         Costille

       - Bookstore changes.  Nothing to date.  Contract for the renovations
         has not been awarded.

       - Morey 220 may need to be looked at.


   b. Shiva LANRover status 

       - can we meet the 8/1 target date for installing the 28.8 modems
         and LANRover?  We should know the telephone #'s and the dialing
         strategy by 8/1.


   c. Wiring project:

       - status report; any new updates? Completion date is still 8/23.
         Lehman may lose data services for a week to pull fiber.

       - PACES: status report; any news/progress?


   d. Unix hosts
  
       - Qmail ok?  Yes.

       - Residential Network servers (TCP/IP services; email); other
         servers (Netware? AppleShare?).  Will meet w/ Russ to discuss.


   e. Downstream access to the Internet for Potsdam Central. (PCS)

       - DEC's wireless bridge connection test results; next step is to
         test LAN connections.

         Must plan on 1/2 day too connet the NYSERNet T1 line to Kellas.


   f. Ventilating the switch room.  Any progress?  NO.

   g. SPOTVB update;  can we shut down account access?  No.  Dave
      suggests leaving it as is.

   h. Review Summer/Fall-prep projects

 
2. New items:
  


   a. Review notes from 5/14/96 NST meeting on backup procedures;
      also, finish describing backup procedures for servers and TV

   b. Evaluate Network Services Team:  Should we continue as-is or change?
