1. Do you have plans for special initiatives and/or projects for the 96-97 school year that involve technology? -- for your students, your faculty, your department? a. Nancy Dodge-Reyome needs a color monitor for her Macintosh. b. Jim Terhune is using SPSS for Windows in his Statistics 300 course (14-15 students enrolled). He is also promoting the use of SPSS in his Introduction to Statistics course, and with the Honors Program. Lumei Hui also uses SPSS in the department. c. Several faculty have expressed interest in using projection technology in their classrooms in Flagg (computer classroom and in other rooms as well). d. Greg Reichhart needs 8Mb additional RAM for his Macintosh. 2. Student Computing Access Program (SCAP) proposals: a. Continued licensing of SPSS for Windows. 3. What are your most important concerns and priorities for the 96-97 school year? -- for your students, your faculty, your department? a. Continued licensing of SPSS for Windows. 4. How can we improve our services and support to meet your needs? - No particular concerns over moving Levitt Center to Kellas or moving the Mac classroom to the library. - No problems with telephone or A/V technology. Very pleased with the long-distance rates.
