Attract outside (SUNY) funding for campus use (information technology; strategic resources)
Wide exposure, of our campus facilities and successes, to strategic customers and partners (prospective students, donors, employees )
Establish and maintain reputation for excellence in service and accomplishments with strategic customers and partners
Recognized for excellence by significant authorities

"...use ETI for new projects or significant changes (e.g., rennovating a classroom). Of the new projects, the ones that seem most exciting to me are:

wiring student rooms - perhaps one residence hall as a pilot project
kiosk project
distance learning - I'd like to have another site up, but programmatic details need to be worked out first."
