2. Meeting Goals for today:
- Review minutes/assignments made last week (6/9)
* x4000 Data Entry Form Bob and Justin have not met on this yet.
Brenda reported that 5 more entries were made since her last report.
* Wiring the "dorms" project. Bob will follow through with ISD
on establishing the infrastructure in preparation for wiring the
residences.
Carm talked to Claude Adair (Chipcom) and he estimated $50/tap for
labor.
* Moving Wellfleet router to Kellas/Kellas Control Room Carm
estimates that there are about 50 phone lines available for modems
in Kellas. The Wellfleet will need 2 pairs for the T1 it uses. He
will make a proposal to move the Wellfleet and the campus file
servers to the "control room" (downstairs of Kellas). We'll need
bookshelves and a filing cabinet to accomodate manuals, etc.
* "Dorm Damage Report". Carm, Brenda and Bob will meet on 6/20
to discuss this and report on it at the next meeting (7/5).
- SUNYNet weekend coverage. SUNYNet will be provided with the
following list of names to contact on weekends/holidays in the order
listed:
1. Bob Jewett
2. Justin Sipher
3. Carmen Casolara

6. Brenda Bennett
3. What's Important to accomplish by next week?
4. Status Reports:
- Establishing a new seed router Bob contacted Shiva about
their recommendation on using one of our FastPaths as a seed router.
They recommended not using an older FastPath since they
are not reliable. One of the Shiva engineers will contact us about
more specific recommendations.
- Feedback card ("How are we doing?") Brenda gave us another
copy of the feedback card that AT&T uses and suggested we adopt it for
our own use. For example, it could be used for customers to tell us
how we did on an installation; an add/move/change; a repair. Bob will
present this idea at the next Supervisor's Team meeting.
- Shiva LANRover problems/update. Still down to one (1) LanRover.
Garnet found one of the modems had a bad setting (port #6).
- 2Gb drive for News server. Dave said that he is waiting
until the new Sun workstation arrives before troubleshooting the 2Gb
drive.
- Flagg Classroom update. Dave reports that IP routing has
not been implemented yet, but that he and Mike have a plan in place for
implementing it.
