VI. TO ENHANCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TEACHING AND LEARNING AND THE

EFFICIENCY AND COMPETITIVENESS OF THE COLLEGE'S OPERATIONS THROUGH THE APPROPRIATE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICES

 

This goal includes:

- exploring, developing, facilitating, and implementing the use of technology and

information services to support innovation and effectiveness of teaching and learning

 

- improving the effectiveness and efficiency of college operations, services and employee productivity through applications of technology

- enhancing access to technology-based information resources, services and

communication tools

 

- assuring that faculty, staff and students have the skills and resources necessary to make effective use of information technology and services

 

- exploring, developing, facilitating, and implementing distributed learning and technology-mediated courses which expand student access to the college's courses and programs
