1. Development:

• Didn't make Top 100 this year, but Geneseo did. What did the top 100 have that we didn't?
  
  
• Organizational Development Consulting Report (Econ students)

• Identify a process for obtaining feedback on the quality/satisfaction of department services and support that is provided to employees and students and test it during Spring '98 semester.
  
  

2. Planning:

• Power Outage on Memorial Day weekend 5/30-5/31 (entire campus w/o power)
  
  
• Start of Fall '98 semester
  • What are our concerns? (e.g., email accounts for new students, documentation, etc.)
  • What will our strategy be for the week before classes start and the first 2 weeks of classes?
  • What role do we expect our student employees to play in this strategy?
  • What departmental teams need to focus on this strategy?

  • Evaluate 97-98 goals
  • Determine 98-99 goals

3. Management

• Say what you think in the meeting, not in side conversations afterwards --remember, being on a team means discouraging and eliminating "parking lot"/gossip meetings. Say it in the meeting or don't say it at all.
  
  
• Dept. computing needs via life-cycle (who should be in year 1, 2, 3); what are our dept. needs and plan to meet those needs
  
  
• Grade our 97-98 performance; then ask: what makes this team exciting, challenging and rewarding to work with (or not)
