a. Departmental interviews

        hiring students to help with web page design
        a new measuring unit for technical help - a "Romeyn"

   - interviewing President Scott on Fri 2/28

b. Lapsing funds - proposed projects:

   - Cabling Crane
   - Desktop computers for employees
   - Dial-in access for School of Education (public school teachers)
   - Knowles Hall conference facility equipment
   - Upgrade current campus network (comparable to ResNet)
   - Centralized backup facility/resources
   - Upgrade more classrooms with "smart classroom" technology
   - High-quality digital camera  (share with College Relations)
   - Pay off part of the ResNet loan
   - Upgrade Flagg 162 server (consistent with ISD Host Services
       Team recommendations for servers)
   - Upgrade Unix hosts
   - Additional network electronics (hub cards, etc.)
   - Install 200-pair underground cable from Raymond to Kellas
   - Install presentation technology in 7th-Floor board room
