Questions:
1. How satisfied you (and your department) are with technology support and
services?
Appreciate the service and equipment the department has received over the
years.
2. What services and support could be improved?
Need someone to help set up and configure systems occasionally to optimize
them for performance.
3. Is your department considering any new technology initiatives for the
next year?
Need to video-tape events that could be re-broadcast via the campus TV
system and/or loaned out as video-tapes from the library. Events would
include ceremonies, speakers and events sponsored by the Womens Studies
program. It would be satisfactory to have a student do this work, if s/he
were trained to do so. This service might be needed at least 2x's/month.
Install Supreme Court decisions CD-ROM on our campus LAN for student use.
Establish support for discussion groups (e.g., LISTSERVs).
Provide faculty/student education (training/development) on technology.
4. What are your most important concerns and priorities for the next
year?
1) Replace Phil Neisser's computer
2) Education on technology (training/development)
