1. keep our campus facilities technologically competitive; that is, our resources and services available to students, parents, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni and the community. * students will have access to IT resources and services from their room (minimum 14.4 modem) and/or public labs. * faculty will have access to the IT resources/services they need in the classroom where they need it. * students and faculty will have access to the necessary resources, services and support necessary to successfully meet their IT-based curricular goals, advising needs and campus-supported research. * parents and alumni will have access to services/information tailored specifically to their needs. * campus computing resources will be capable of accessing and effectively utilizing campus IT systems and services. * the campus will be capable of support the origination and reception of H.320-compliant distance learning services. 2. support the technology necessary for faculty to offer the most meaningful curriculum necessary to reach our college goals and mission (i.e., liberal arts, diversity, technologically competent in field of study) 3. develop and support those skills necessary for the effective use of IT * information acquisition skills and enhance their personal productivity and professional options * faculty, staff, and students will have access to and know how to use email, WWW and other campus/Internet-based IT services.
